Vision

  • Vision
    • Organize contests (Swisseurobot, FLL) in order to contribute to educations of young people.
    • Organize robotics workshop.
  • FLL
    • The organization was done by Jean-François Pochon from CPNV in the past.
    • Now the event is fully organized by Robot-CH under the supervision of Sabrina Chapuis.
    • The next event in March will be done in “virtual mode” due to COVID-19
  • Swisseurobot:
    • The event of 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19.
    • The event of 2021 will hopefully be organized the 1st May. Only one day and teams will not be in the same room. The constraints are high, but the goal is really to organize the event.
    • Only the Swiss teams will be allowed for the event 2021.
    • The concept will be presented to the authority to be checked and approved.
    • The event is kept the 1st of May (for the moment) to be able to qualify the best teams for the European championship. If the European championship is postponed, we might also postpone Swisseurobot.
    • Future: the contest will be held every two years in Yverdon-les-Bains (linked with a school contest) and every two years somewhere in Switzerland. The goal is to promote robotics and this event in particular in Switzerland and not only in Yverdon-les-Bains.
